**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** * Process machine system orders with difficulty rating level 1 to 3 on a scale of 4\. + Match the appropriate assemblies or component parts to the machine order specifications. + Design custom components and change parts to meet the customer’s needs or specifications. + Create CAD assemblies, part models, detail drawings, and Bill of Materials for machine orders and verifies for accuracy. + Call for design review before releasing of assemblies. + Is self\-motivated to adjust schedule to meet design and release deadlines. Report projects that are falling behind schedule to the Engineering Supervisor or Engineering Manager in a timely manner so corrective action can be made. + Report to the Engineering Manager any machine\-related performance or safety concerns that are not being addressed. + Initiates corrective actions within assigned project scope and escalates issues as required. + Assist assembly floor and manufacturing when called upon to solve engineering problems. * Assist the Service Department with issues found in the field.
