**Salina Regional Health Center** **REIMBURSEMENT ANALYST** **POSITION SUMMARY** Responsible for monthly and annual third\-party contractual allowance accruals. Ensures accurate third\-party reimbursement through various strategic financial planning mechanisms. Supports the development of management reports and data analysis to aid Administration in the decision\-making process. Assists in the preparation of the Medicare cost report. POPULATION SERVED: n/a OSHA CATEGORY III **ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS** **QUALITY** Prepares monthly and annual projections for all third\-party payor contractual allowances ensuring accurate reimbursement. Assists in the preparation, completion and filing of cost reports to third\-parties on a timely basis. Utilizes strategic financial planning software to assist the Controller in developing long\-range financial projections. Participates in and provides support to the Community Benefit Committee including financial reporting of community benefits. Assists in the preparation of work\-papers in response to audits by third\-party auditors.
