**Heartland Primary Care** is a well\-established private practice with four locations throughout the Kansas City area. Our Kansas City, Kansas facility offers comprehensive care in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and Urgent Care. **Overview** The position supports both clinical and clerical duties in a busy internal Medicine Practice setting. Under the supervision of the Manager and Providers, the employee will play an integral role in supporting clinic operations. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast\-paced environment and collaborating with a variety of clinical staff. **Key Responsibilities:** * Meeting with patients face to face and discussing preventative care * Calling patients in follow up of emergency room visits * Collaboration with the provider * Reviewing patient charts for quality measures * Provide patient education * Support high patient volumes and maintain effective communication **Qualifications** We are hiring for the following licensed/certified roles: * Medical Assistant (CMA/MA) * Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Relevant clinic experience is preferred.
