**Job Summary** The City of St. Peters is seeking a Civil Engineer to support the planning, design, development, and inspection of public works and infrastructure projects throughout the community. This position serves as a project engineer for City improvements, reviews development plans and permits, oversees construction activities, prepares technical specifications and bid documents, and provides engineering guidance to City departments and officials. The role offers a combination of office and field engineering work with the opportunity to directly contribute to the City's infrastructure and continued growth. **Normal Shift:** Monday\-Friday; 8:00 a.m.\- 4:30 p.m. **Key Responsibilities** * Serve as project engineer in coordination with other Departments for public works improvements and capital improvement projects. * Review and issue construction, excavation, and grading permits. * Review subdivision plans, record plats, site plans, and improvement plans. * Review plans for streets, potable water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater improvements. * Inspect and coordinate inspections of construction, excavation, and grading projects. * Conduct construction and field surveys using e...
