Director of Field Operations \- Multifamily Job Description About the Role AP Construction LLC is a full\-service multifamily general contractor running up to five projects at once across the Midwest. The Director of Field Operations owns the field — safety, schedule, quality, and trade coordination on every active site. You report to the Director of Construction and work alongside a Project Manager on each job. What You'll Do * Run day\-to\-day field operations on multifamily projects — wood\-frame and mid\-rise, typically. * Enforce safety programs and OSHA compliance across all sites. * Hold trades to the project schedule and drive on\-time delivery. * Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, and material deliveries. * Drive quality — punch lists, finish standards, and turnover readiness. * Ensure all site metrics are met — not schedule alone — including safety metrics, schedule metrics, staffing, and manpower. * Mentor and direct site superintendents and finish supers as the team grows. * Support warranty and closeout with the Warranty Technician.
