The Analyst serves as part of a professional team providing financial, economic, and investigative analysis across the full spectrum of bankruptcy cases. Depending on grade level, the Analyst performs increasingly complex financial reviews, audits, investigative work, trustee oversight, and case evaluations to support the USTP’s mission. *Duties vary by grade level; higher levels reflect greater independence, complexity, and subject\-matter expertise* **Bankruptcy Analysis** * Reviews petitions, schedules, disclosure materials, and financial records—onsite when necessary—to assess accuracy, completeness, and compliance. * Identifies deficiencies, fraud indicators, or potential criminal activity and recommends appropriate case actions. * Prepares analytical summaries and exhibits; may provide testimony. * At higher levels, evaluates complex financial structures, conducts debtor conferences, and provides expert analysis in major Chapter 11 cases. **Financial Analysis** * Evaluates financial feasibility and business viability by analyzing corporate structures, assets, liabilities, cash flow, management capability, and projections. * Assesses compliance with financial reporting require...
