DHR Health \- US:TX:Edinburg \- Varies Summary: **POSITION SUMMARY:** Clinical Pharmacists fill orders for parenteral and enteral medications, monitor patient drug therapy, and provide drug information. Clinical Pharmacists supervise and direct support personnel. In the absence of the director of pharmacy, a staff pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the director of pharmacy. **POSITION EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATIONS** **:** * BS Pharmacy degree or Pharm.D. or equivalent required * Licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of Texas required. * Completed all continuing education requirements **JOB KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE** **:** * Two ( **2** ) two years of Hospital experience preferred, but not required. * Twenty ( **20** ) hours of IV admixture preparation training. * Requires good communication and organizational skills. * Must have ability to write routine reports and correspondence. * Must have ability to speak effectively, and possess strong reasoning ability and good independent judgment. * Requires working with frequent interruptions Responsibilities: **POSITION RESPONSIBILITES:** * Promotes the facility mission, vision and v...
