Job Description: The Sr. Civil Structural Designer applies standard drafting techniques to generate and interpret drawings in support of assigned projects. The Structural Design Drafter creates and establishes drawings consistent with good drafting practices and client requirements. Design Drafters may coach and develop less experienced drafters. Position Duties/Responsibilities: * 3D modeling * Preparing 2D plan and detail drawings of concrete and steel structures supporting line pipe and associated equipment. Including but not limited to: foundations supporting pumps, compressors, tanks, electrical equipment, and pipe rack structures; steel pipe racks, access platforms, and buildings. * Coordinate efficiently with structural engineers to optimize design quality and efficiency. * Manage workload and check work of project team of structural designers. Coordinate with other disciplines to squad check all project drawings. * Review and markup vendor\-supplied drawings and adapt model and drawings to accommodate vendor equipment. * Travel to project sites when required for walk downs during design phase.
