Posting ID 163282 Department Psychiatry/Carver College of Medicine Jobcode Clinical/HC Research Manager Working Title Clinical Trials Research Manager Details The Department of Psychiatry is seeking a part\-time temporary Clinical Trials Research Manager to administer, plan, promote, and manage the clinical trial program for patients with Alzheimer’s disease and similar conditions. **Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities** * Direct the clinical trial program that conducts experimental medication studies that include brain imaging, laboratory monitoring, physical and cognitive assessments. * Communicate with the national coordinating centers for the organization and implementation of the clinical trial protocols. * Manage the monitoring visits with the national clinical trial coordinating center. * Provide nursing assessment examinations of vital signs, clinical symptoms, medical history and initial screening of medical suitability for clinical research. * Implement the participant scheduling system to work with the research magnetic resonance imaging center and the positron emission tomography center to facilitate brain imaging data collection on elderly research participants....
