**Job Title: Senior Ophthalmic Technician/Scribe (retina)** **Practice**: Susquehanna Retina Center, P.C. **Key responsibilities:** * basic intake, registration, workups, checking visual acuity, pupillometry, confrontation visual fields, intraocular pressure measurement, administration of ophthalmic drops (dilation, anesthetic and therapeutic drops) * obtaining ophthalmic imaging (ie. OCT, fundus photography, computerized visual field testing); proficiency in retinal angiography (ie. FA, ICG) strongly preferred * prepping and assisting with the in office procedures (ie. eye injections, retina lasers); ability to counsel patients on different procedures and answer basic questions regarding those procedures * help scribe and accurately/efficiently record ophthalmic exam findings in electronic medical record * help manage patient flow in coordination with clinical management * help organize, monitor and order/re\-stock clinical and administrative supplies * help organize, monitor and order/re\-stock buy\-and\-bill biologics for physician\-administered medication for the office/practice * help with surgical scheduling for ophthalmic/retina surgery, help with surgical scheduling with ho...
