Description

We are looking for a **retail\-minded Product Selection \& Development Manager** with a strong eye for products, color, trends, packaging and commercial appeal. **This is not primarily an industrial design or engineering position.** The main responsibility is to identify and develop products that will sell at major retailers, particularly **TJX, Burlington, Ross and other off\-price and mass\-market retailers**. You will work with our overseas factories and internal sales and creative teams to select products from existing factory capabilities and make the changes needed to make them commercially stronger for the U.S. market. This may include changing: * Colors and color combinations * Finishes and materials * Patterns and graphics * Handles, knobs and other aesthetic details * Product assortments * Set configurations * Packaging * Product presentation * Features and specifications * Retail price positioning You do not need to engineer products from scratch.
