Welcome to Cherry Health \- video about Cherry Health This position's is working within our Adult Internal Medicine clinic and the schedule is working Monday through Friday 8 am \- 5 pm, also working two Saturdays per year 9 am \- Noon**Overview of Position:** Under the direction of the RN Supervisor or Site Manager, the Medical Assistant supports the patient by actively participating in the interdisciplinary care team and assists providers in the delivery of primary care services. Must adhere to the organizational Policies, Procedures, Code of Ethics, and all licensing and accreditation standards of the position. Must represent the organization’s Mission in all actions and communications. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** * Complete chart preparation for each patient, including review of population health management system (e.g., Care Sentry), updating incomplete orders and referrals, and gathering other information as required (such as hospital records).
