(RBI), a leading mechanical contractor in the Shenandoah Valley, is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join our service team in Mount Crawford, VA. This full\-time position will manage purchasing processes, vendor relationships, inventory, and material logistics to support efficient service operations. **Responsibilities** -------------------- * Develop and manage purchasing processes that promote value and operational efficiency. * Coordinate equipment and material purchasing to support project schedules and minimize work in progress. * Prioritize and process call\-in material orders. * Issue purchase orders with accurate vendor, part, pricing, and job or truck\-stock information. * Follow up with vendors, technicians, customers, and dispatchers regarding material availability and delivery schedules. * Negotiate with vendors to secure the best overall value. * Utilize vendors participating in the Comfort Systems USA National Purchasing Program. * Process material returns, warranty claims, and RMA requests. * Develop and maintain a preferred vendor list. * Safely operate forklifts and vehicles to ...
