**Job Description** **What is the Opportunity?** * The Director, Regulatory Engagement – Responsible AI is responsible for leading RBC's strategic regulatory engagement initiatives related to artificial intelligence governance, compliance, and risk management. This role bridges RBC's internal AI governance frameworks with external regulatory expectations across multiple jurisdictions (Canada, US, EU, APAC). The Director will develop and execute a proactive regulatory engagement strategy while ensuring alignment with evolving AI regulations, including the EU AI Act and emerging domestic frameworks. **What will you do?** **Regulatory Strategy \& Engagement** * Develop and execute a comprehensive regulatory engagement strategy for AI governance across all relevant jurisdictions * Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies on AI governance, policy, and compliance matters * Maintain deep monitoring of emerging AI regulations and regulatory expectations; communicate implications to senior leadership * Prepare and present regulatory submissions, self\-assessments, and responses to regulatory inquiries related to AI governance * Partner with Legal, Risk, and Compliance fun...
