HX5 is currently seeking a Structural Analyst for the Moonbase Program to join the team at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** * Review and understand structural requirements on Flight Hardware, Ground Support Equipment, and Test Support Equipment. * Use stress analysis experience to perform classical hand calculations for stress analysis and determine Margins of Safety. * Create Finite element models using PATRAN, FEMAP, or more advanced solutions in MSC/MARC. * Apply loads and boundary conditions to Finite Element Models, post\-process results. * Calculate Margins of Safety for parts and assemblies. * Prepare structural analysis reports. * Collaborate with other engineers to find resolutions to technical issues. * Assess parts and Assemblies for Fracture Cont...
