**Role overview** ----------------- Lead all manufacturing areas to consistently meet production schedules while upholding rigorous safety and quality standards. You will coordinate people, materials, and machines to translate plans into on\-time, in\-spec output. ### **A day in the life** * Begin with daily walkthroughs and field tours, confirming priorities and key risks for the day. * Run a crisp shift handoff, aligning teams to schedule goals and resource needs. * Review production metrics from the ERP (SAP preferred) to spot bottlenecks, quality drifts, or safety concerns—then act. * Allocate staffing, materials, and equipment to execute the production plan; set clear output targets. * Coordinate maintenance, turnarounds, and planned downtime; keep senior leadership informed. * Ensure training, tools, and equipment meet all health and safety requirements. * Coach team members on best practices; address performance and employee\-relations issues early and constructively. * Verify that manufactured components meet engineering specifications and internal quality standards. * Safeguard inventory accuracy by enforcing established transaction processes. * Track productivity and labo...
