Overview: **Department:** Medical Surgical Acute \- 4T**Shift’s Available:** Nights**Employment Type:** PRN or Per Diem**Hours:** 7:00PM \- 7:00AM**Location:** Riverview Regional Medical Center, Gadsden, AL We are seeking a **Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (Nights),** sometimes referred to as a Med Surge RN at Riverview Regional Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare in Gadsden, AL. These Registered Nurses (RN) play an important role in our hospital by providing comprehensive care to patients who are recovering from surgery, managing acute and chronic illnesses, or undergoing diagnostic procedures. Med\-surg nurses are considered the backbone of hospital nursing due to the variety and volume of patients they manage. Responsibilities: ***Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):**** conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of patients' physical, emotional, and mental health * monitor vital signs, intake/output, and other clinical indicators to detect changes in patient conditions * recognize and act on warning signs of deterioration, such as changes in heart rate, respiratory rate, or mental status * safely administer prescrib...
