**Description** --------------- Western Timberlands is seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Manager to lead the Springfield/South Valley Area operating team in the South Oregon Region. This role is based in Eugene, Oregon, and reports directly to the South Oregon Region Manager. The newly combined Springfield and South Valley operating areas span approximately 400,000 acres and includes a dedicated staff of foresters, engineers, harvest managers, and functional support staff. There are \~20 non\-production and \~22 hourly production employees. The salaried team will include dedicated leads for each of the 3 primary disciplines (forestry, harvesting, and engineering) that report directly to the Area Manager.
