Performs scheduled maintenance, testing, upgrade and troubleshooting. **Description of Duties** * Responsible for operating and monitoring of security systems on multiple University campuses to identify information security incidents and compromises and provide immediate and real time security network intelligence and responses. * Participates in the response and recovery of abuse of systems and information resources, violation of policies, privacy issues, and related incidents. * Provides assistance in maintaining the firewall for the entire university by making changes as needed by implementing various blocking and monitoring mechanisms. * Configures and maintains firewalls for departments and colleges based on set parameters. * Maintains and monitors spam filter devices by performing key software and configuration changes. * Participates in the configuration and maintenance of encrypted virtual private networks for d...
