Lake Superior Consulting is seeking a Civil Engineer I to join our team in Duluth, MN. We are seeking candidates graduating in December 2026, but are open to considering candidates graduating in May 2027\. The Civil Engineer I will be responsible for project engineering in our growing Engineering group. This person will support drafting and engineering efforts under the direction of a professional engineer. **Responsibilities:** * Learn industry practices and perform Civil/Structural design calculations utilizing governing codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience. * Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and perform CAD support * Develop 3D civil models and drawings * Layout and detail portions of projects * Organize, draft, and coordinate technical documents * Research design options and document findings for Engineer of Record * Perform field activities such as observing and recording existing field conditions; taking and verifying measurements within project area * Work either independently or closely with others in a team environment on construction plans with clients, architects, and other professionals * Review shop drawings an...
