Overview: **Position Summary:** The Operating Room Nurse Manager provides direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on best in\-class operating procedures, nursing disciplines, and patient safety protocols. They coordinate and consult with other healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement and evaluate both minor and major operations Responsibilities: **Responsibilities:** 1\. Uses an appropriate problem\-solving approach to plan services. a. Assures that clinical service objectives are established, approved by Administrative Director Surgical Services and outcomes demonstrated. b. Plans and directs the development, administration, and evaluation of the nursing clinical service budget (operating and capital) for areas of responsibility and is accountable for sound fiscal management. c. Plans/implements/markets/evaluates new services in conjunction with the Surgical Service Line and other services as appropriate. d.
