**Valley View's Ortho Clinic is looking for an RN Navigator to join our team!** **Nurse Navigator needed to support clinic and OR functions, including surgical scheduling, patient education, coordination with clinic schedulers,** **and procedural** **assistance.** **GENERAL OBJECTIVES:** * Provides individualized assistance to patients, families, and caregivers to overcome barriers within the healthcare system and facilitate access to all of the resources available to patients. * Acts as a link between patients and care providers to facilitate clinical and supportive care services. Functions as a single point of contact among referring physicians, patients, and other clinical caregivers for the purpose of empowering patients in dealing with the disease and the treatment. * Facilitates patient appointments for diagnostic procedures in the laboratory, imaging, surgery and other specialty areas. **QUALIFICATIONS:** **Education:** * Current Colorado RN license or the ability to obtain * Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program1 year of nursing (RN) experience * BSN Required * BLS per American Heart Association with card in\-ha...
