About the Position Cox Construction Co. is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial, public works, and federal construction projects. The Superintendent serves as Cox Construction Co.’s senior on\-site representative and works closely with the Project Manager to successfully deliver the project. This position requires an experienced construction professional who can lead people, anticipate problems, coordinate complex work, and take ownership of Safety, Quality, Schedule, and Budget. Responsibilities * Direct and coordinate day\-to\-day field operations, subcontractors, suppliers, Cox personnel, equipment, and site logistics. * Maintain a safe, professional, organized, and productive jobsite and actively enforce project safety requirements. * Ensure construction complies with the plans, specifications, approved changes, and contract requirements. * Develop and manage short\-term look\-ahead schedules and actively participate in development and maintenance of the project CPM schedule. * Plan manpower, materials, equipment, inspections, procurement, and subcontractor activities well in advance of the work. * Lead preparatory, foreman, ...
