About the Position The Post\-Doctoral Fellow I provides assistance to the Principal Investigator, Co\-Investigators, and Research Staff. S/he ensures enrollment numbers are successfully met, when applicable, and protocol adherence, monitoring visits, overseeing regulatory and administrative details, data management assistance and project close\-out support is provided. About the Project Every year, malaria afflicts over 200 million individuals globally and causes more than half a million deaths, primarily among young children. In response to mounting parasite resistance to standard antimalarial therapeutics, developing next\-generation vaccines is imperative. This research utilizes a pathogen\-agnostic messenger RNA (mRNA) platform technology to deliver versatile anti\-infection solutions, using malaria as a benchmark disease model. The primary objective is to evaluate the immunological efficacy and protective durability of vaccine constructs directed against early\-stage infection, thereby establishing a modular, rapid\-response paradigm capable of rapid adaptation to other infectious threats.
