Juneau Construction Company is seeking a Virtual Design \+ Construction (VD\+C) Engineer based out of our Atlanta, GA office to report to our Director of VD\+C. The VD\+C Engineer’s role within the VD\+C department is to lead Preconstruction and Operations project teams with the coordination of structural, architectural, and building systems on midsized to large projects. **Position Requirements:** * B.S. in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and/or Media Disciplines Required; Master’s Degree Preferred * Passion for technology and the built environment * Ability to read and understand construction plans and details * Fluent use of Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks **Duties and Responsibilities:** * Understand construction documents and how they relate to VD\+C, Preconstruction, and Operations * Review of design documents and models for completeness and accuracy * Model development for the coordination of architectural and structural components, as well as overhead or below\-grade systems coordination * Identification of constructability, safety, and logistical challenges through review of design documents and models * Lead the development of the BIM Execution Plan (BEP)...
