Horizons Health and Wellness is a small, independent gynecology and women's wellness practice in Bridgewater, MA. We provide comprehensive women's healthcare as well as medical weight management and a variety of wellness and aesthetic services. We are looking for an **experienced Certified Medical Assistant** to join our team on a per\-diem basis, with the opportunity to grow into a regular part\-time and potentially full\-time position as our practice expands. This position is ideal for an experienced MA who enjoys working in a smaller practice, getting to know patients, working closely with providers, and taking an active role in keeping the clinical day running smoothly. **Responsibilities** The Medical Assistant will: * Room patients and obtain and accurately document vital signs * Review and update medications and allergies * Update problem lists and medical, surgical, family, social and gynecologic histories in the electronic medical record * Administer injectable medications * Teach patients how to self\-administer injectable medications * Perform urine pregnancy tests and other point\-of\-care urine testing * Set up for and assist with gynecologic procedures * Process and p...
