**Job Summary** We are seeking a highly skilled and detail\-oriented IME Report Writer/Medicolegal Document Specialist to join our team supporting seven physicians in a busy orthopedic surgery practice specializing in hand and upper extremity care. This position is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and formatting Independent Medical Examination (IME) reports and other medicolegal documentation, as well as assisting with billing and collection activities related to IME services **Responsibilities:** * Prepare and draft comprehensive IME reports based on physician examinations, medical records, and other documentation. * Review medical records and accurately summarize pertinent medical history, treatment, diagnostic studies, and clinical findings. * Transcribe and/or edit physician dictations and incorporate information into formal medicolegal reports. * Ensure reports are accurate, complete, well\-organized, and professionally formatted. * Identify inconsistencies, missing information, or areas requiring clarification and communicate these issues to the appropriate physician. * Maintain consistency in terminology, formatting, and report structure. * Proofread reports for grammar...
