**Job Description** As a Senior Applications Developer on the Engineering Tools Development team, you will play a key role in developing our PLM and Digital Engineering applications that support our customers’ mission\-critical objectives. This role combines deep technical expertise and cross\-functional leadership. **What You’ll Do** * Lead, assist, and collaborate with other application developers, business analysts, system administrators, and others in conceptualizing and developing new software programs and applications as well as maintaining existing applications. * Collaborate with specialists from a wide variety of expertise including mechanical engineering, material science, optical engineering, and other information technology team members. * Plan phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) for a variety of projects. * Assist in the preparation and documentation of software requirements and specifications. * Research and document requirements of software users. * Conduct research on emerging application development best practices, languages, and standards in support of development efforts. * Partner with business representatives to ensure requirements are well und...
