About this Job: **General Summary of Position** The entry\-level Research Assistant supports research projects within the MedStar Health Research Institute by assisting with basic data collection analysis and general administrative tasks. Provides an opportunity to gain hands\-on experience and grow within the field of research while contributing to ongoing studies in clinical and/or health services research. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and demonstrates strong attention to detail organization and communication skills. This position will require travel between MedStar Montgomery Medical Center and MedStar Washington Hospital Center. **Primary Duties and Responsibilities** * Conducting blood draws and processing of samples * Assists with collecting organizing and maintaining research data. * Performs basic data entry and data management tasks. * Assists with study startup activities as well as patient recruitment * Prepares materials for research studies including questionnaires and surveys. * Assists with the preparation of research reports presentations and publications. * Coordinates meetings schedules and communications for research teams. * Participates in research mee...
