Weldment Companies is looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team working on Heavy Steel Fabricated Structures. Quality, safety, and code compliance are the highest focus in this role, and you will be fully in the work: developing calculations and models, coordinating standards, working directly with customers, and helping lead projects through to successful completion. You will also assist the Principal Engineer with quoting and estimation. The role starts on a contract basis with the potential to turn full time, and for the right person there is a path into a leadership position, including a possible Principal role in another division. Software licenses will be provided. **Responsibilities** * Develop structural calculations and models on live projects. * Review engineering calculations, reports, and drawings for safety, code compliance, and design intent. * Serve as the second of three checks on every project.
