**Job Summary** --------------- The Clinical Staff 2 Pharmacist position focuses on inpatient care with an emphasis in a variety of patient care areas (e.g., Transplant, Infectious Disease, Critical Care, Cardiology, Oncology, Pediatrics, Pain and Palliative Care, Nutrition Support). The Staff 2 Clinical Pharmacist works primarily in the inpatient setting, covers select specialty services and provides distribution support to hospitalized patients. The Staff 2 Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for directing and maintaining drug therapy across the continuum of care, providing comprehensive service\-based monitoring on select services, as well as focused monitoring in the areas of supportive care/symptom management, antimicrobial management, anticoagulation, and parenteral nutrition therapy. The Staff 2 Clinical Pharmacist continuously seeks out interventions by making rounds with the medical teams and offering suggestions on individualized medication regimens.
