**2nd Shift** Under the supervision of the Plant Manager, directs and coordinates, through subordinate area manager personnel, activities concerned with the production of company products, utilizing knowledge of product technology, production methods and procedures, and capabilities of machines and equipment. * Supervise, train, instruct and evaluate associates as team players in manufacturing, safety, maintenance, and quality methods and procedures, and capabilities of machines and equipment. * Authority to plan and direct production activities and establish production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors. * Coordinates production activities with production control, maintenance, tool room, and quality control to obtain optimum production and utilization of manpower, machine, and equipment. * Reviews and analyzes production, quality, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of non\-conformity with product specifications or production problems. * Implements operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality. * Consults with engineering personnel relative to modification of mac...
