**Job Summary:** Provides physical therapy services for patients under the direction and supervision of the Director, Assistant Director, and or Clinical Supervisor or designee. **Essential Responsibilities:** * Assumes the responsibility as outlined in the Physical Therapists job summary and responsibilities. * Provides department in\-service as requested by management (e.g., journal club presentation, and or regular in\-service presentation). * Serves as a clinical instructor as requested by management. * Assists in orientation and training of employees as needed. * Provides consultation to staff. * May act as a mentor for staff. * May provide input into the clinical competency of staff. * Identifies process Improvement opportunities. * May assist in the development and implementation of new clinical practice models for the delivery of care. * Participates in performance improvement projects or other committees as requested by management. * May be involved in the clinical competency of PTAs and Rehab Aides. * May monitor the work of contract therapists and the treatment of patients in Kaiser and non\-Kaiser facilities * Performs other duties as required within scope of practice. ...
