**Job Overview** As Assistant General Manager, you’ll help lead daily retail operations and keep the team focused on excellent customer service, strong sales, and a well\-run store. You’ll support hiring, employee orientation, training, scheduling, payroll, bookkeeping, purchasing, and inventory management while working closely with the General Manager. Your impact: By coordinating people, products, and store operations, you help customers find what they need and enable employees to deliver consistent service. **Duties** * Supervise and develop team members; support recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, and ongoing training. * Manage shifts, cashiering, cash handling, point\-of\-sale (POS) systems, and customer concerns. * Oversee inventory control, stocking, merchandising, pricing, purchasing, and retail store product knowledge. * Support sales management, budgeting, bookkeeping, payroll, and operational management. * Communicate priorities clearly, use negotiation and time\-management skills, and maintain organized store processes. **Qualifications** * Experience in retail sales, sales team management, or grocery stores is an asset. * Familiarity with POS systems, inven...
