**Position Summary** *The* ***Clinical Research*** ***Assistant*** *will be responsible for performing duties as assigned according to these standards. Candidates with experience working in a research setting are preferred. A knowledge of medical terminology is essential.* **Major Duties and Responsibilities** * Assess eligibility of potential subjects through review of medical records and discussion of patient status with the Medical Director, the Principal Investigator, other Investigators, nurses and/or the CRC as appropriate. * Schedule subjects for appointments or procedures as directed to meet study protocols. * Collect, maintain, and enter data in keeping with the requirements of the department and the particular study as required; this may be electronic or printed based on requirements of the study. * Assist with collection, processing, and shipping of blood/urine specimens at scheduled patient visits.
