We are hiring a **Software System Engineer** to support an enterprise\-level program within a federal environment. **Job Description and Responsibilities** Develops and maintains complex software applications by defining requirements, designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs. Uses manufacturer\-provided engineering releases and utilities to modify and maintain existing applications. Performs operating system maintenance and supports complex systems, including file management routines, large telecommunications networks, computer accounting systems, and advanced mathematical and scientific software.
