A top client is hiring an experienced Controller in Raleigh, NC. As the Controller, you own the close, the consolidation, the control environment, revenue recognition policy, and the accounting standards every division works to. You lead the corporate accounting team as well. Division leadership owns their results; you own the integrity of the numbers those results are built from. Our client is growing quickly by acquisition, and every business they buy arrives with its own chart of accounts, its own close, and its own way of recording a job. Bringing each one onto a single standard is a large part of this role, and the impact builds with every deal. You will own the entire accounting function, at a fast pace. You will report to the Chief Financial Officer and work regularly with the rest of the executive team, which gives you visibility into how the business is run and a direct hand in where it goes next.
