Overview: **ABOUT THE POSITION** VHB is hiring Transportation Design Interns to join our team in Atlanta, GA for the Fall 2027 semester. This position would be full\-time (40 hrs./week). **Responsibilities** * Effectively interact with numerous VHB staff to advance projects in a timely manner * Assist with engineering calculations, analysis and report preparation * Field investigation, data collection, survey quality review * Assist with completion of preliminary and final construction plans * Quantity take\-offs and calculations **Skills and Attributes** * Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills * Ability to independently manage multiple tasks and interact appropriately and positively with clients * Self\-motivated with attention to detail **Qualifications** * Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering * Interest in transportation design and/or traffic engineering VHB does not provide housing for internships. The hourly pay range for this position, located in Georgia, is $19 to $30\.
