**Duties and Responsibilities:** * Obtain vital signs and patient history. * Prepare patients and assist with exams and procedures. * Administer medications and injections as directed and within scope of practice. * Collect specimens and perform point\-of\-care testing. * Provide basic wound care and monitor patient status. * Communicate results to patients per provider direction. * Assist with patient and family education for continuation of care. * Assist with precepting new clinical employees and CMA students. * Document all care in the electronic medical record accurately and timely. * Maintain HIPAA compliance. * Follow infection control policies. * Perform other clinical duties as assigned by the healthcare provider or supervisor. **Qualifications:** *Education/Experience:* * High School Diploma or equivalent required. * Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by CAAHEP, ABHES, another U.S. Department of Education\-recognized accrediting agency, a South Carolina Department of Education\-approved Health Sciences Program, a U.S. military medical assisting program, a Department of Labor\-approved Registered Apprenticeship Program, or an employer\-sponsored medical ass...
