**Job Type:** Full time **Exempt/Non Exempt:** Hourly **Job Description:** **Location Details:** Remote **Position Schedule / Shift:** Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm **Position Summary:** ***This role is a temporary assignment for approximately three to six months with potential to transition into a permanent position.*** Performs accounting functions related to the preparation, maintenance and/or reconciliation of a variety of subsidiary and general ledger accounts. Reviews invoices for compliance with corporate policies, duplicate payments and fraud control. Verifies and/or determines all information needed by disbursement system for inclusion into corporate ledgers. Enters data from invoices and payment requests into automated disbursement system. Analyzes computer output to determine discrepancies and errors and initiates corrective action to ensure integrity of ledger systems. Verifies that account balances are reported accurately and that reconciling items are cleared on a timely basis. Allocates operating expenses and maintains accounting records; compiles data and prepares periodic reports as directed. Ensures disbursements are made in accordance with vendor /corporate terms.
