DHO JV is joint venture between contractors, Dragados, Hawaiian Dredging Construction, Co., and Orion Government Services. This collaboration aims to develop a new dry dock for the Governments Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard (PHNSY) and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (IMF) Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, working on important marine infrastructure projects with NAVPAC Pacific. **JOB OVERVIEW:** This position is responsible for the purchase, scheduling, and coordinating shipment of goods to ensure that the construction project has the materials and equipment necessary to be successful. This position assumes responsibility of the areas of purchasing, production scheduling, ordering, and coordinating shipments with DHOs Logistics Manager. In addition, the position supports the tracing and control of inventory, contract negotiation with vendors and suppliers, and the evaluation of current and new suppliers. **PRIMARY FUNCTIONS \& RESPONSIBILITIES:** * + Initiate or receive field purchase requisitions and work project management for approval. * Research vendor/supplier prices, delivery dates, etc. through written bid or verbal quote.
