**Role Overview:** The Clinical Charge Audit Analyst ensures accurate clinical documentation, coding, and billing for cardiovascular procedures within a hospital setting. They review medical records, procedural logs, and supply inventories to verify correct coding with ICD\-10, CPT\-4, and HCPCS codes, supporting compliance and optimal reimbursement. The analyst collaborates with departments such as Compliance, RMD, HIM, and supply chain to build charge codes for new procedures, troubleshoot billing issues, and maintain clinical expertise in cardiovascular anatomy and procedures. They educate physicians and staff on coding updates, monitor revenue reports, and assist in data collection for regulatory surveys.
