**Senior Accountant – Tax \& Bookkeeping Count On Finance is hiring an experienced Senior Accountant to manage a portfolio of small\-business clients and help ensure their accounting, financial reporting, and tax work moves forward accurately and on time. This is a client\-facing, managerial accounting role—not a traditional data\-entry bookkeeping position. The right person can oversee multiple clients, priorities, deadlines, tax matters, and team members at the same time. You should be highly organized, communicate proactively, take ownership, and follow assignments through to completion without constant reminders. The position is open because the team member currently handling many of these responsibilities is being promoted within the firm. What You’ll Do Client and Project Management • Manage a portfolio of small\-business clients. • Track open tasks, deadlines, missing information, client questions, and next steps. • Prioritize work across multiple clients and competing deadlines. • Proactively follow up with clients for documents and information. • Coordinate work among bookkeeping staff, tax staff, clients, and outside parties. • Delegate work when appropriate and follow th...
