**Job Description:** Junior Software Engineer **Clearance:** Must have an active DoD Secret clearance. **Requirement:** Immediate hire, Full time, Full benefits **Work Location:** Remote. **Education:** Bachelor’s in computer science. **Job Summary:** We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer to support a DoD program. The candidate will work with the technical lead and development team to maintain and enhance existing Java\-based applications in the cloud environment, troubleshoot issues, and support ongoing development and modernization efforts. **Basic Qualifications:** * 1 Year IT experience * Experience with software development lifecycle. * Experience with Java software design, development, testing, and deployment. * Experience with web\-based applications, client/server applications, or cloud\-hosted systems. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with software development concepts and Agile methodologies. * Experience with common release tracking software (JIRA, Confluence). * Experience with basic SQL. * Knowledge of AWS Cloud. * Knowledge of leveraging AI\-assisted development tools, automated code generation, or AI\-powered engineering capabilities.
