Engineers also review design codes and reference material for application in a safe and economical product design as well as enhancing the automated mathematical calculation processes. **Design Engineer Duties and Responsibilities:** Provide technical support to the Sales Department to ensure accurate project quotes. Perform strength calculations by using standard design software.
