**Title: Medical Assistant** ============================ **Job Summary:** Under the supervision of the Health Center Nurse (HCN) and/or the Health Center Nurse II (HCNII), the Medical Assistant (MA) of Omni Family Health (Omni) provides support to a growing network of state\-of\-the\-art health centers serving California’s Central Valley. As a member of the organization’s Medical Department, the MA is part of the team concept in the center’s health delivery system, which is devoted to the delivery of primary care in an ambulatory setting with an emphases on prevention and health maintenance. The MA is an allied health care professional who performs administrative, clerical, and technical supportive services in assistance to the clinical staff as required in accordance with the established policies and procedures. **Job Duties:** * Provides clinical and clerical support to the clinical staff and patients. * Reviews provider schedule and prepares exam rooms accordingly based on procedure and/or visit. * Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking height, weight, blood pressure, temperature, and measuring vital signs. * Verifies patient informat...
