We are seeking a highly motivated and friendly Medical Assistant to join our Nutriheallth team. Teamwork and professionalism are crucial. Duties as the Medical Assistant position include but are not limited to: * Obtaining and recording patient medical histories, vitals, test results, and other information for medical records while maintaining strict confidentiality * Assisting the front * desk staff on as needed basis in scheduling, patient check\-in and check\-out, and patient medical record maintenance * Preparing treatment rooms for clinical examinations * Confirming Prior Authorizations are required and submitting requests promptly, following up on delayed or outstanding Prior Authorizations, and Working proactively to prevent denials through accurate and timely submissions * Delivering compassionate support, attention, and assistance to patients and families * Ensuring compliance with all health care regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA * Assisting with all other duties as assigned **Qualifications** * A basic understanding of patient care, ...
