The City of Pierre seeks a passionate individual to join our team in making Pierre one of the best places to live, work, and visit. We are looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for the coordination and management of projects across multiple city departments. The successful incumbent will lead and oversee special projects; negotiate, draft, and administer capital improvement special project contracts, memoranda of understanding, easements, permits, resolutions, and miscellaneous agreements; draft and defend contract dispute letters and identifies and prioritize critical infrastructure needs, including risk assessments for mitigation; analyze feasible solutions and makes recommendations to the City Commission; determine scope of work; prepare estimates, bid documents, plans, and specifications; and inspect projects through final payment and close out. **Project Manager** ENG/5 Engineering JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for the coordination and management of projects across multiple city departments.
