Description: Markon is seeking a Structural Engineer to support the Naval Nuclear Laboratory’s Facility Design organization at the Knolls Site. This position will work within a multidisciplinary project team supporting construction projects involving buildings and utility infrastructure. The Structural Engineer will help define project scope, develop technical and construction documentation, support engineering activities throughout construction, and provide oversight of architectural and engineering firms supporting facility projects. **NOTE:** This position requires regular onsite work at the Knolls Site and may be performed remotely for one day a week. An active DOE L clearance is required. Responsibilities: * Conduct and document industrial hygiene exposure assessments as part of comprehensive assessments of site processes. * Perform field surveillance activities to identify and evaluate potential workplace health hazards. * Conduct workforce interviews in support of industrial hygiene assessments. * Review established procedures and existing industrial hygiene data. * Perform industrial hygiene sampling and interpret sampling results. * Conduct sampling and exposure assessment...
