Ducas Construction is a Scarborough\-based construction management and general contracting firm building commercial projects across southern Maine and New England. We are currently looking for a Quality Control Manager to join our team. We’re hiring: Quality Control Manager Are you an Assistant PM, Project Engineer, or Associate Architect/Engineer who’s ready for more responsibility and to get on site hands on experience. This could be your next step. You will be a critical part of the Project Management Team, reporting to the Project Superintendent and Project Manager. #### **What You'll Do** * Develop and Run a threephase inspection process (preparatory, initial, followup) for every part of the work * Manage submittals and review shop drawings for compliance with the contract * Coordinate testing, inspections, and specialty QC staff across all trades * Write daily QC reports and keep the rework list up to date * Work alongside the VA’s onsite representatives, the superintendent, and the safety officer * Be on site full time while construction is underway #### **What We’re Looking For** * 2\+ years of commercial construction experience as a Project Engineer, Assistant PM, QC profe...
